Bench/Step Deadlift - Dumbbells

1. Grab a set of Dumbbells and start with them on a bench or for a lower setup, use a step.
2. Stand close to the bench and then begin to hinge at the hips and let the hands move toward the dumbbells.
3. Grasp the dumbbells and brace the core.
4. Lift the dumbbells off the bench, keeping a neutral spine and try not to lift the head to quickly. Arms stay locked and movement comes from the lower back.
5. Fully extend through the knees and hips and keep our shoulders pinned back to prevent an arch in the upper back.
6. Return the dumbbells to the bench by driving our hips back and going back into the hinge movement. That's 1 rep.
